A birthday gift of lovely boots
My Mother loves boots but she only has one very old and worn pair. I know that she really wants a new pair but she keeps saying that they are fine because she cannot afford to replace them. I have therefore decided that I will treat her to a new pair when it is her birthday. I am hoping that she will let me take her shopping and so she can choose her own womens winter boots. They are just coming in to the shops and so I think that if I wait just a little bit longer then there will be plenty for her to choose from.
I am hoping that she will not be too proud to allow me to buy them for her. She does feel that children should not feel that they have to buy things for their parents and I do feel like that too. I want to do it for her because she deserves it and still does a lot for me, far more than just a pair of womens ankle boots can make up for but I hope it will at least start to show her what I think of her and how much I appreciate her hard work.
