The Perfect First Date
Let us be perfectly honest. The dinner and movie situation is a classic, but people of both sexes are getting a little tired of it. Plus, the movie portion of the date doesn’t really work out on a first date since there’s no real talking involved. So here’s a revised version. Invite your lucky date to your home and either cook for them or cook together. Mixing almonds and chicken for a delicious dish is a much better ice breaker than trying to make awkward small talk around an intimate dinner table.
Having a little fun in the kitchen will show your date that you are a laid back person that isn’t nervous around new people. Dried mangoes and chocolate makes a simple dessert that can easily get you two a little closer together. A little soft music and wine during dinner doesn’t hurt either. This way, both of you can be relaxed and you don’t have to feel the pressure of the public eye. Snuggling up for a movie and some toasted pumpkin seeds in your living room sounds much better than movie theatre popcorn and a bunch of annoying teenagers too. So the next time you have a date, impress her at home.
